Our story began back in 2014 when Steve and Irda Dothage, frustrated by the lack of local authentic soft pretzels here in Michigan, began making pretzels at home for themselves and their friends and family. The next decade was spent experimenting and perfecting their recipe over countless batches. Ten years and about a million pretzels later, Millie Lou's Pretzel Co. was born.
